Grout is a porous substance that is subject to staining by dirty mop water, spillage and other contaminants. GME will apply a commercial tile and grout solution to your entire tile floor, after which, all grout lines and tiles are agitated using hand brush or floor machines. The cleaning solution is then removed using a high-pressure extractor designed to pull dirt from the tiles and grout pores. The floor is then rinsed and ready to be sealed. In most cases we start by using a green cleaning solution to agitate the dirt in the grout in each grout line. This process is the first step in cleaning tile grout. Different types of grout take different levels of grout cleaning. We then use a Turbo machine to steam clean the tiles and floor. This process lifts the dirt out of the tiles and the grout at the same time. We then dry the floor completely and wait for all water to dry out of the grout lines. Once the floor is completely dry, we can either seal the tiles and grout with a clear sealer, or we can simply seal the grout lines. This prevents the grout from staining in the future.
