GME is looking for a results-driven Operations Manager – Full Time
Job Description: Plan, organize and direct operational activities to achieve specified cost and profit objectives. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications, company policy and procedures, standards and customer satisfaction.
Develop and recommend operational objectives. Implement budgetary standards for both labor and materials based on approved objectives. Plan, organize and direct the operations to ensure performance of work in accordance with contract specifications. Continually analyze the results of operations and take immediate corrective action where performance deviates from the standard. Effectively use quality assurance reports in this area of responsibility. Ensure all operations equipment and vehicles are maintained in a clean and operational condition. Interpret and implement approved operating policies, methods and procedures. Develop and train subordinate (Resident Managers) managers, appraise their performance and make recommendations regarding salary changes, promotion, transfer or termination of subordinates. Hires, promotes, transfers employees in assigned accounts.
Make recommendations regarding adjustments in contractual arrangements based on operational needs. Ensure the immediate and proper handling of customer complaints and problems. Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain excellent relationships. Assist the Resident Managers with problems and concerns. Assist the Area Manager with problems and concerns. Approve extra billing work. Oversees all aspects of quality and environmental standards and ensure all guidelines are followed and met.
Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in management of Maintenance or Janitorial Services. Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple sites in a geographical area. Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing. Additional Information: Car allowance / Gas card
